Si2 Wikis
During January and February 2009 Si2 migrated all previously sponsored wikis into a wiki farm under our OpenEDA site. Wiki login is now via Si2 user accounts. See information below on the different types of Si2 wikis.

Types of Si2 Wikis

As of 2009, Si2 sponsored Wikis are subsites of the main Si2 www.si2.org site. There are several categories of wiki areas:

Coalition Work Groups:
These wikis are restricted to a specific Si2 coalition and member company users who participate in official coalition groups. A user must be in a coalition group reflector for the system to allow them access to one of these wikis.
Coalition Membership:
These wikis allow users from the companies that are members of a specific Si2 coalition.
Public View/Member Edit:
These wikis may allow the public, or at minimum visitor login for view. Edit permission always requires login to an Si2/OpenEDA account, and may require basic membership in Si2 and possible other coalitions.

Note: Some sites may be viewable by the public (non-logged in users). In all cases, wiki edit permission is restricted, at minimum, to users who are logged into an Si2 account as well. There are no strictly wiki-accounts. Users log into their Si2/OpenEDA account and the system logs them into the selected wiki if their account/company has permission to access it for edit.
