Functional Description:
The Si2 OpenAccess API Tutorial, written by the Si2 staff, is 800+ pages designed to teach a user the OpenAccess 2.2 API. Si2 offers different editions of the PDF format of this tutorial as an OpenAccess Contribution. Si2 has also made the Si2 OpenAccess Online Course labs an OpenAccess Contribution. Most recent editions of the tutorial and the course labs are available to any user.

Si2 develops OpenAccess training materials and updates them regularly to
improve the content and to keep up with the major API releases.
The Si2 training materials are available in 3 different presentation formats:

Face-to-Face training.
Towards enabling the community to evaluate OpenAccess more completely, Si2 offers most recent editions of the OpenAccess Tutorial (PDF) and the labs free
any user. The tutorial gives evaluators a look at the changes and
features in the recent, coalition-only releases of OpenAccess.

The 12th Edition of the Si2 OpenAccess Tutorial has been posted. Updated for OA 22.42p002 and 22.43p004 including data compression, 28nm constraints, scratch designs and updated material based on new features, behavior, and documentation.
The tutorial (pdf) and companion labs are available for download to any user account.

The 11th Edition of the Si2 OpenAccess Tutorial has been posted. This edition includes most OA API changes from the new oa22.41 stream up through release oa22.41p008. New material includes multi-threading and 32nm constraints. The tutorial (pdf) and companion labs are available for download to any user account.

The 10th Edition of the Si2 OpenAccess 2.2 Tutorial has been posted. The tutorial in PDF format - with labs - is available to any Si2 user account - member or guest.
The new Si2 OpenAccess Online Course 10th edition has been posted as well and is open to all OpenAccess Coalition member users.
The 10th Edition includes OA API changes through oa22.04.p064.

Si2 has posted the 7th Edition of the Si2 OpenAccess API Tutorial (pdf) free to Si2 members. The March 2008 version expands coverage of the API for the new Data Model 4. A Tcl lab has been added to the OA labs used by the Si2 OpenAccess 2.2 Course. The updated labs package has also been posted for Si2 Members.

Si2 has posted the OpenAccess 2.2 book 6th Edition (pdf) free to Si2 members. This November 2007 version addresses changes in the API for the new Data Model 4. The OA 2.2.04 labs used by the Si2 OpenAccess 2.2 Course have also been posted for Si2 Members.
