Please note:
Levels of OpenAccess Releases
- Coalition Releases: Releases require OpenAccess Coalition membership (or Si2 Academic Membership - see Si2 Download Policies for Coalition Products)
- General Releases: Releases opened by Si2 for non-coalition member distribution.
Types of OpenAccess Releases:
- Major release : Binaries, Source, and Documentation
- Incremental Src Release: Source and Documentation (no binaries) released for patch changes.
OpenAccess Inactive Stream End Of Life Policy
When an OpenAccess release stream is declared at End Of Life, it means that:
- Kits for the stream will be removed from the Si2 downloads web site.
- No more source code or binary releases will occur.
- Bugs reported with respect to that release will not be investigated.
- The person who reports the bug must reproduce it on a version of OpenAccess that has not been declared End Of Life.
- This is usually only done for streams that are at least one year old and have become inactive.
