Si2 Licensed Downloads

OpenEDA.Si2.org is used for distributing information and other IP for Si2 councils, projects, boards, or workgroups. User accounts are required to use many of the site's features. In addition, the IP available for download may have licensing requirements (Review Si2 License and Download Policies).

Types of of Accounts

Please refer to How to Get An Account to see a description of the types of corporate member, corporate guest, academic member, individual guest and visior accounts available.


New Company Account

If your company is requesting a new company account from Si2, select the license(s) from the
Licenses Table which apply to the materials Si2 distributes in which you are interested. Download, print, sign, and submit the license to Si2. See the section Submitting Licenses to Si2 on this page.

Existing Company Account

To see what licenses your company has with Si2, check the section Company Info on your My Page. Please note that certain licenses have multiple versions. File downloads may require that your company has agreed to a specific version of a license.

If you want to download licensed material that is controlled by a license that your company has not agreed to, please contact your company coordinator on the Companies page. To receive license approval the coordinator should download, print, sign, and submit the license to Si2. See the section Submitting Licenses to Si2 on this page.


Submitting Licenses to Si2

The entire signed license needs to be mailed to Si2.

Faxing

To expedite your license approval, you may fax the final signature page of a license to Si2 and follow up by mailing the entire license to Si2. On receipt of the faxed signature page, Si2 will enable the license approval for your company account.

NOTICE: Click Through Licenses
Si2 offers Click-Through License Approval for some licensed downloads. The following policies apply:
  • Click-Through agreements are only available to companies and individual company-type accounts on this site. Visitor accounts are not eligible.
  • If you want to download a file controlled by a Click-Through license, and your coordinator has not agreed to the license yet, you will be offered the option to 'Click-Through' and accept the agreement. NOTE: you are binding your company to the terms of the agreement. Please make sure you have the authority to do so. A notification will be mailed to your company coordinator that you have accepted the terms of the agreement.
If you are a coordinator for your company, a link is displayed in the table below for company approval on available click-through licenses.

Company coordinators can block all click-through licenses, for use by their company users, from their company coordinator panel.
