New Si2 OpenAccess
Contributions help you
leverage OA-based technology and information.
- Si2Delta
displays (in an easily readable format) differences between the OA API
doc files of different OA releases. This display enables quick
identification of every detail that changed in the API documentation
from one release to the next, wherever it occurs throughout the tree.
This can help a programmer anticipate behavioral differences that might
otherwise be overlooked.
- Si2 OA
Tutorial is a PDF version of the popular Si2 OpenAccess
Online Course. It is now packaged with all the exercises and labs.
Though lacking many of the features of the Online version, it is a
compact, portable solution to OA API training needs.
Enhancements
to the Si2
OpenAccess Online Course and Members-Only Si2 OpenAccess
Online Docs help you master the API.
- Si2Delta links appear on every page that differs from the
corresponding page in the prior release. Following the link produces an
easy-to-read, side-by-side display of the two pages with each
difference highlighted.
- Search engine links appear at the top of each page.
Matches are conveniently categorized according to main sections, such
as "API Ref", "Programmers Guide", "Translators", etc. The Online
Course search includes additional categories like "Lab Code", and
"Supplementary Materials" – even "Course Deltas".
- Collaboration
Comments enable community-driven, dynamic extension of the Si2 Online
Course at a per-page granularity. Whether adding errata, additional
example code, or flow-specific use-cases, Comments
provide immediate benefit to others taking the Course.
